Popping Instructions
3Tbs. Oil (Coconut Oil preferred)
1/2 Cup Grubb's Premium Popping Corn
Salt & Butter
- Heat oil with one kernel of corn in a deep heavy bottomed pan. When kernel has popped, add remaining corn and cover (leaving the lid slightly ajar for steam to vent).
- When Popping slows to a few pops every second, remove from heat. Pour into a large bowl.
- Add salt and or melted butter if desired, then ENJOY!
Kettle Corn Recipe
1/2 C. Grubb's Premium Mushroom Popping Corn
1/4 C. White sugar
2 T. Corn or Canola oil
Tip: Rinse out the Whirley Popper immediately after popping the corn. This is the easiest way to ensure a quick clean up.
- Heat the oil in your Whirley Popper on medium heat. Once hot, stir in the sugar and Grubb’s Premium Mushroom Popping Corn.
- Shake the pot constantly to keep the sugar from burning.
- Once the popping has slowed to once every 2 to 3 seconds, remove the Whirley Popper from the heat and continue to shake for a minute until the popping has stopped.
- Pour into a large bowl, and allow to cool, stirring occasionally to break up large clumps.
